The Lobby Lounge Chalet

One of the reasons why I love working here at the Conrad Centennial Singapore's Lobby Lounge......

I just got back from a party organised by my managers who are just so cool like that.
We had this party in a chalet by the 'sea'.
The pictures i took were not enough to illustrate how nice and cozy the place actually is though.

I went there after work because it's my first time attending this get-together

Part of me was obliged to attend, part of me really wanted to experience it

So it was about 12am??

Went out walking with 2 of my colleagues

We wanted to go to the beach but we saw this =(

Which was the gate to the beach

Luckily there were some time in the morning before heading back to work

Off we go..

Not really a huge 'beach' with seashore and etc,
but this was good enough to entertain me

I was so amused by the view that i had to take a picture of me in it

Sadly, i had to take the picture myself, 

So i set my camera on timer

And this was all i could get when it started to drizzle =(

Shoding

Today is my off day.
I went shoding. That is a word created by myself, shopping + food. It means shopping for food. I won't really call it 'jalan-jalancari makan' or food hunt or food adventure because I only went to a nearby shopping mall to get my lunch. It was a really BIG lunch....oh yeah.

I went to Jurong Point, a mall about 10-15mins walk from my cousin's place. It was nice of him to accompany me eventhough he has to work later on.

We bought our brunch, which will probably last me until tomorrow.
I went to:

 The very famous in Singapore, Mos Burger

Yup, these are mine.

You heard/read me, RICE BURGER.

Not bread, rice.

Being a 'fan tong', it's awesome.

Then my cousin recommended me to try some bubble tea,

similar to Chatime (which can't be found in Singapore)

I don't usually buy these,

but what the heck, it was a hot day.

These was what i tried

 The proper way to drink this is not by using a staw

You gotta cut the cover open with a small plastic knife given.

Don't know if you can see the knife there but it's on the cover

Reason to this is to drink both the creme and the tea and the same time

It was not bad, at least i like it

Then we went to this. (Left)

This is one of the popular snacks here

We bought the cheese one

And it tasted not bad as well.

Lastly, this

I know they're available in Malaysia as well,

but guess what,

over here it is sold with NO BONE!

It's even cut into pieces,

just like how it originally was in Malaysia!..(but not now that's why i stopped buying)

So that was all, it looks little, but trust me, it's alot.

Another

Just another day awoken from a nightmare. Now, it's not of ghosts and ghouls, but unfortunate event that fall upon my family member, again. Not that I'm being too superstitious about this, just that it happened too often that I feel like it's a sign to start worrying or worse. So I've come to a decision to find out what's happening in reality the moment another of these dreams show up.

I hate doing closing shifts, it's so long and boring, unless of course, if i'm the runner of the night. I get to..explore things and gain new experience. Which is also a motivation for me. I look forward for more free time during work, AS A RUNNER. Free time being a hostess is the suckiest thing ever! So this is what i have been doing lately. Awesome ain't it? I won't give up til i strive for perfection. My foaming is still inconsistent.

I really don't understand what is wrong with these people. The toilet seats are perfectly clean to put yo ass on, the housekeeping aunty cleans it every once in awhile. Why can't you just sit?? Can you girls not be so inconsiderate! Gosh!

I've met a new friend. Quite childish..well, this explains it.

 I dared him to draw something big on the board which we use as a communication too in the department, which should be filled with serious work related stuff. He accepted the dare, and this is what he wrote. Though it's not as big as i imagined.

This was my dinner last night as I tried as much to cut down because another disadvantage of working night shifts..no exercise. But this was as much as i could cut down =( Still not working.

And this, kids,

is what happened when you underestimate the sharpness of a sharp item.

I just hope that the red wine they drank, was purely red wine ><

It was too sharp there were hardly any pain.

My captain and i only found out when there's a bunch of red liquid on the wine opener, which i thought did not looked like red wine. LOL.

This is..a gift from the hotel or somthing. I don't know what is this.

All i know,

he's in a better place now, 

with grandma,

he can walk, live and most importantly

SEE perfectly.

We will always miss you.
